The Professional Training Program is designed for students who want to dedicate themselves intensively to the circus arts. Our Program welcomes two types of profiles: those who aim to follow an academic educational path and are preparing to audition for higher circus schools, and those who seek to develop as circus artists and enter the professional world.
The Professional Training is full-time from Monday to Friday, running from October to June, and consists of over 3000 hours of instruction over its three-year duration
The Program is divided into
Technical Year: Designed for individuals interested in completing CREAT’s Professional Biennium. The objectives are: to physically prepare the students, develop technical skills in transversal disciplines (trampoline, handstands, acrobatics, and movement), and provide an initial foundation in their chosen specialization.
Professional Biennium: Designed for individuals with prior training in circus or related disciplines such as dance, theater, and sports. The objectives are: to consolidate optimal physical conditioning, master the main transversal disciplines, develop solid technique in a chosen specialization, and acquire the necessary stage tools for the creation and development of artistic projects.
Admission to the program is through an in-person or online audition.
IMPORTANT: Students who successfully complete the Technical Year may be invited to continue their training in the Professional Biennium or to undertake a second Technical Year
Minimum age: 16 years
